<B>A CONFEDERATE 'D-GUARD' BOWIE KNIFE FROM THE "BATTLE OF ATLANTA" 1864.</B></I> This classic D-Guard Confederate Bowie knife was a battlefield pickup from the Battle of Atlanta near Stone Mountain, Georgia and has been a prominent part of the Tharpe Collection of American Military History for many years.<BR>With a 19" blade, the knife measures 23.75" overall with minor pitting throughout while exhibiting a medium-gray patina.
