A Collection of Book Plate Printing Blocks by Celia Levetus (Birmingham School), Circa 1890-1900], twenty various examples including those depicting children and figures in the Pre-Raphaelite and Art Nouveau style. *The illustrator Celia Levetus was born in Birmingham and studied at the Birmingham School where she was heavily influenced by the work of William Morris. She contributed to the Yellow Book and illustrated several children's books, as well as supplying pictures for magazines, including the English Illustrated Magazine for example page designs for poems by her husband. One block, made of Cecil Reginald Grundy was loaned to the Victoria and Albert Museum for an exhibition 'A History of Bookplates in Britain' in 1979 £400-600
