Description: For your consideration is a rare, possibles (sometimes known as a TeePee) bag from the late 1800s. This is a large beaded bag handmade with brain tanned leather and it is intricately decorated with with Plains Native American (likely Cheyenne) beadwork designs. It is sinew sewn and also features metal jingle cones with red dyed horsehair and leather strings for the closure. This is truly a nice and desirable treasure! Maker: Plains (likely Cheyenne). Approx Age: Circa late 1800s. Size: 21” wide x 15-1/2” tall. Condition: Pretty good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected.
