A Coalport porcelain urn shape vase brightly painted with two birds of paradise within a scrolling gilt cartouche and with a smaller cartouche to the reverse containing a floral spray; with further gilded scrolling and foliate motifs against a royal blue ground, gilded borders and two gilded rams head handles, green printed crown mark circa 1891 - 1920, height 9.25" (23.5cms). (Repair to rim). Also a matched cover, (hairline crack). £80 - 120
