China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AC). Funerary Sancai Glazed figural group; horse is in light brown glazed while the groom wears a black cap, with a moustache and wearing a light green overcoat with white collar. The horse has a green glazed harness,tussles and saddle cloth. The saddle is brown in colour. 8"H x 9"L x 3-3/4"W. Minor repairs and losses, as shown.

Provenance: Ex-private G. Bingham Collection, Utah.
