Early 19th century
The domed elongated black laquered octagonal hinged cover and conforming case opening to reveal an interior fitted with two bright-cut tin tea boxes, all raised on carved lion's paw feet. The whole decorated with gilt floral and scroll panels and figural views. Lenght 8.75 in., height 5.5 in., width 6.25 in.
