A Chien Lung coffee cup and saucer with the arms of Woodley, Probably William Woodley, Governor of the Leeward Islands, c.1780 (V2, p.695). Howard notes that this service occupies a special place in the study of armorial porcelain, having been attributed as being Lowestoft in the late 19th century and accordingly realising remarkably high prices at auction, even into the 1920's(see illustration) Estimate 150-200
