A Cheshire Lines Railway Signalbox Board "CHEADLE JUNCTION" in the ornate serif letters distinctive to this Company. The signal box, a CLC Type 1a design, opened on 16th March 1902. It was located on the Romiley Junction to Glazebrook East Junction line, junction for the line to Cheadle Heath North Junction on the Midland Railways New Mills to Heaton Mersey line. It closed on 29th April 1984. 14'x16 1/2", face-repainted. With BR receipt.
