A Cardiff Railway original gold leaf coat of arms transfer mounted on board. This device, which shows the old Cardiff arms (left) and part of the arms of the Marquess of Bute dividing the motto "Wrth Ddwr a Than" (By water or fire), originated in 1891 and adorned the Company's locomotives and steam railmotors. 14" square.
