A Biedermeier-shelf clock, the Viennese spring-driven rake and bell striking movement chiming the hours on gongs, repeating, strike/silent control, lever escapement, the guilloched dial indicating hours and minutes, a subsidiary dial indicating the date, with illegible clockmaker's inscription, the portal-shaped partially pearwood veneered and black matted case supported on alabaster columns, the applied decoration partly replaced, height 55 cm, a pendulum and a key, Vienna, around 1825/30, considerable traces of wear, needs overhauling, (Pz) EURO 1,700 - 2,200 US $ 1,500 - 2,000
