Late Period, Thailand (Ban Chiang), ca. 300 BC – 200 AD. Bronze ladle with deep bucket / cup attachced to curved tripartite handle; small animal figure applied on end of handle, further accented by geometric pattern on very tip. Deep green black patina. Custom stand. 10-3/4"H as shown. Invisibly repaired, but looks near choice. For an almost exact example, see The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Accession Number: 1987.424.8.
