A BR(S) 8" dial roundhead fusee movement wall clock in a fine oak case. The 24 hour face is lettered "BR(S). John Walker, South Molton St., London". Its number 10995 reveals that it was purchased in 1949 as the Southampton relief clock, then went to Southampton S.D.S. Office (Senior District Superintendent?); and finally to Strawberry Hill Shunters Cabin. A most attractive clock in full working order, complete with pendulum and key.
