A BR(E) dark blue enamel 'Running-In' Board "DORE & TOTLEY". Flangeless (obviously once in a frame), 60"x25". Some wear mainly to the edge. An ex Midland Railway Sheffield suburban station, junction for the London and Hope Valley lines, opened in 1872 and renamed "DORE" in 1971. The London side platforms were closed in the 1960's; the Hope Valley Line platform is still open.
