A 19th century mahogany and gilt metal mounted chiming bracket clock having a caddy style top with gilt scrolling embellishments and mounted and flanked by gilt pineapples, the door with further gilt, shell and scrolling embellishments framing the silvered dial, chime silent, regulator and chime of eight bells and Westminster chime, with brass plaque inscribed "J.H. Potter, Sheffield", all flanked by gilt reeded columns with corinthian capitals and to the sides each with a pierced cast gilt florentine panel all above a relief cast foliate band and all supported upon gilt metal capped turned feet. Height 26ins. (see illustration)
