A 19th century German stoneware lidded punch bowl, the lid decorated with relief moulded scrolls and flowers and with foliate knop, the main bulbous body with griffin style handles and decorated in relief with Bavarian clothed dwarfs making merry amongst grapes and with a foliate decorated base, having an impressed triangular mark to the underside, numbered 654, circa 1870. Height 14ins.
