A 19th Century gilt wood side table by Holland & Sons with original marble top the frieze fitted a drawer with relief carved and stucco front on four lions head monopodic front legs with recess plinth base, 54 inches wide x 33 inches high x 19 inches deep. The drawer top is stamped Holland & SonsThe design of this table is attributed to Professor Gottfried Semper, circa 1855. The carved monopodia correlate exactly with the supports of the Renaissance cabinet made by the same firm for the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1855 which was acquired by South Kensington Museum in 1860 for £232.10s.8d and is now on view in the Victoria and Albert Museum
