A 1930's Betjemanns patent silver tantalus, fitted with a set of 3 yellow overlaid ribbed cut glass decanters, makers Charles Boyton & Son, 1930, (gross 95ozs) inscribed 'To Basil with love from Gracie' Given by Gracie Fields to Basil Dean,OBE, Founder of Associated Talking Pictures, the Company that was later to become Ealing Studios, amongst the stars he built up were Gracie Fields and George Formby. He later became head of ENSA and for this work was awarded the OBE £1500-2000
