A 1930 Bean 30 CWT 14HP Lorry, registration WD 1863, buff log book, V5 document, and period handbook, See illustration £3000-4000 Note: This was one of Nick's first commercial vehicle acquisitions when he bought it in 1967 from Alfred Manssuer, of Stratford upon Avon, who had used it for coal delivery ever since purchasing it from its first owner in 1932. This comes with a quantity of spares including a spare front axle, propellor shaft, coupling, gaskets etc. Bean was of course, a short-lived mass-producer of vehicles in the Black Country in the vintage era and , although many of its cars survive, its commercials are rare. WD 1863 has taken part in the Historic Commercial Vehicle of London - Brighton Run and for a time was BRS fleet mascot. Whilst there it was extensively restored by BRS apprentices. WD 1863 has made numerous TV appearances including Brideshead Revisited and House of Elliot.
