Near fine. Ex A.W. Jackman (of plated Chapman fame), autographed in ink at the head of the front cover. Lot 333, the "1804" dollar, is given the following pedigree in the catalogue: "From Col. Adams Collection, sold to Jubal Early; sold C.B. Cochran of Antrim, N.H., and sold with his collection of Dollars to Mason & Co., March 1889." A note in red ink present here observes that it is "withdrawn--an alteration."
