DIE HARD 2 (1990) - John McClane's (Bruce Willis) Bloodied Parka - John McClane's (Bruce Willis) bloodied parka from Renny Harlin's Die Hard 2. After the shootout with Colonel Stuart's (William Sadler) men at the Skywalk, Dulles International Airport chief engineer Leslie Barnes (Art Evans) who was shot in the arm during the scuffle gave McClane his parka when they attempted to move to the second radio tower.

Upon release, Die Hard 2 became the largest pre-opening film based on box-office gross over six years before the release of Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. Though greeted with mixed reviews initially, it has since been reconsidered as a modern classic and one of the best action films of 1990.

Originating from Christie's 1992 South Kensington London Auction, this navy blue polyester-cotton down parka features silver-color reflective nylon straps, a gray sherpa lined hoodie, brown fur hoodie trim, and "DULLES ENGINEERING" silk-screened in white on the back. It is marked "XL" twice in the left pocket and features stage blood along the sleeves as well as a tear on the left arm. During the Christie's 1992 auction, the catalog noted the parka included a tag marked "Die Hard II Bruce ILM ejection shot strapped to chair Front only, Aged" which was has since been lost. This parka exhibits grime throughout, including faux snowflakes from filming outdoors.

Estimate: $4,000 - 8,000
