HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS (1989) - Production-Made Oversized Antie Puppet Head - An oversized Antie puppet head from the production of Joe Johnston's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. After being shrunk to microscopic sizes by their dad Wayne (Rick Moranis), Amy (Amy O'Neill) and Nick Szalinski (Robert Oliveri) and their neighbors, Russ (Thomas Wilson Brown) and Ron Thompson (Jared Rushton), used their beloved pet ant Antie for transportation until its fatal fight with a dangerous scorpion.

This large, detailed ant puppet's head was created for production but ultimately unseen in the final cut. It is constructed from foam rubber molded around metal rods in the antennae and hand-painted mottled brown with black eyes and striping on its pincers. The head comes mounted through the back with a metal base tied with rubber tubing through the pincers. It exhibits paint flaking, cracking, and stiffening to the foam latex from age, and should be handled with caution. Dimensions: 60" x 27" x 17" (152.5 cm x 68.75 cm x 43.25 cm)

Special shipping required; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: $600 - 1,200
