CLEOPATRA (1963) - Cleopatra's (Elizabeth Taylor) Headdress - Cleopatra's (Elizabeth Taylor) headdress from Joseph L. Mankiewicz's and Rouben Mamoulian's Cleopatra. Cleopatra wore her headdress during a heated discussion with Mark Antony (Richard Burton) in her temple about his marriage to Octavian Caesar Augustus' (Roddy McDowell) sister Octavia (Jean Marsh).

Originating from vintage wardrobe collector John LeBold, who worked with legendary Hollywood memorabilia collector and actress Debbie Reynolds, this headdress is made of twisted metal strands with clear acrylic gems on the ends and an internal metal ring that allows the headdress to sit on top of the wearer's head. The strands are malleable and curved around the shape of Cleopatra's hairstyle but are currently straight. This lot exhibits tarnishing throughout.

Estimate: $2,000 - 4,000
