16 Prehistoric South Texas Bandera Willow Leaf Flint Spear Points or Preform Arrowheads. These are surface finds from South Texas and are primarily made of Bandera Flint. These were used as Spear Points. They date to the Archaic Period (8000-1000 BC). Bandera flint arrowheads refer to artifacts found in Bandera County, Texas often identified as Martindale points or other archaic projectile points. They are displayed in a 14" Tall x 12" Wide Wood and Glass Frame. COLLECTIBLE ANCIENT AND PREHISTORIC ARTIFACTS ARROWHEADS *While these arrowheads came from an estate of a long-time collector; we as the auction company are not going to get into a protracted discussion about age and authenticity. This collector has no paperwork or COA as to age or authenticity. While we believe the vast majority; if not all to be old; we are wholly uncomfortable with an argument with qualified and unqualified, alleged authorities.
