A lot of 9 New Kingdom terracotta amulet molds, c. 1570 - 1075 BC. Lot includes a mold for a large cobra head, a mold for a Wedjat, or 'Eye of Horus', an ovoid palm front, a poppy collar element, a rosette bead, a petal-shaped collar element, an ankh amulet, an amulet of the god Horus holding a staff, and an amulet of Pharaoh holding a staff. A couple of the molds with light white paste showing signs of prior use and the rosette stamp with losses. Well preserved, one with some chipping to edges. The cobra head mold quite scarce and is from Amarna. Largest measures 2 1/8 in x 1 3/4 in (5.4 x 4.4 cm) in length. Ex Orange County private collection.
