GHOSTBUSTERS (1984) - Taxi Model Miniature with Crew Parking Placard - A taxi model miniature with a crew parking placard from the production of Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters. Taxi miniatures were used to fill the streets of New York in effects inserts during the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man sequence.

This plastic and resin taxi with a lightbulb inset on its roof was constructed and painted yellow by the Entertainment Effects Group (EEG) model shop. It features wiring concealed on the underside for powering the bulb and an interior painted to appear upholstered with leather. Also included is a dashboard placard given to crew during filming with the production logo and "Columbia Pictures Feature" printed on front. The miniature exhibits intentional distressing by production to appear damaged with a dent in its door, discolored paint, and three missing tires. The wiring is currently nonfunctional.
