BON VOYAGE, CHARLIE BROWN (AND DON'T COME BACK!!) (1980) - Framed Hand-Illustrated Poster Artwork - Framed poster artwork hand-illustrated for the promotion of Bill Melendez's Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!). In the film, Violette Honfleur (Roseline Rubens) accidentally set the Chateau du Mal Voisin aflame while Charlie Brown (Arrin Skelley), Linus Van Pelt (Daniel Anderson), and the rest of the Peanuts gang were visiting France.

Bon Voyage was the final Peanuts feature to be released during renowned Peanuts franchise mastermind and artist Charles Schulz's lifetime; and this artwork is believed to be the only final piece that Shultz had ever done in this unique medium, in color, and signed by Shutlz. In addition to creating the final one-sheet for the film, Schulz also wrote the script based on his own experiences as a soldier stationed overseas during World War II.

This artwork, designed by Spiros Angelikas, depicts a montage of the various Peanuts hand-painted on acetate and applied to a painted canvas background beneath cut-outs of the title. It is signed by Schulz in the bottom right corner. The artwork comes mounted behind glass in a custom construction paper-backed frame affixed with a hanging wire. The backing exhibits minor punctures and the animation acetate exhibits some subtle lifting from the canvas. Dimensions: 22" x 26" x 1" (56 cm x 66 cm x 2.5 cm)
