This framed oil on canvas by Yetty is entitled The Power of Anemones and was painted circa 1985. Stretcher measures 14 x 18 x 3/4 inches. This and many other works are being sold here exclusively on behalf of the artist.

Yetty was born in Antwerp Belgium and completed her B.A. in Fine Art at the Franklyn School of Art in New York. She has studied at the Antwerp Academy of Art and the Art Students League in New York. She has also studied with many notable artists, including Arthur Kaufman (of the Bauhaus) in New York, Leonard Nelson in Philadelphia, Etienne Ret (of Paris) in San Antonio, and Rufino Tamayo in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.



Yetty's works have been exhibited in galleries and at exhibitions throughout the U.S. and Europe, including the Barcelona Museum (1988), Elkon Gallery of New York (1975), Felix Vercel of New York and Paris (1970), National Arts Club (1956), Witte Memorial Museum, San Antonio (1954), and the Sketch Club of Philadelphia (1949).
