A set of three patches belonging to a soldier from the 82nd Airborne, 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, which headed the D-Day invasion on 6 June 1944 and fought until 15 July 1944, when they were brought back to Utah Beach. The patches are a 2” x 3” 82nd Airborne shoulder patch, a 4” diameter bullion paratrooper patch and a 4.5” diameter devil patch. All three patches have loose threading and soiling, but are in very good condition.
