BUYER'S PREMIUM: A 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot.
PHONE BIDS: Phone bids will be accepted with proper identification. We do not accept phone bids of less than $50 on any item. In order to become a phone bidder signup at our website www.bobconnelly.com. Occasionally, we have more requests for phone bidding on a particular item then we can accommodate or we can not reach a phone bidder at the time an item is being sold; we therefore can not guarantee that all phone bids can be executed. We will do our best to accommodate all phone bidders but in order to insure your bid, we recommend you leave an absentee bid as a backup to your phone bid.
PAYMENT: We accept cash, business and personal checks with pre-approval, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and PayPal. Payment must be made on the day of the sale unless prior arrangements have been made. The auction house reserves the right to hold objects until the checks are cleared. A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks. The purchaser is responsible for the purchase price and any and all fees incurred in the collection of purchases. All payments made must be in U.S. funds only.
RESERVES: There are no reserves, all items are being sold "Absolute" without reserve.
AS IS: All items are sold "AS IS", where is, without any written or expressed guarantee of condition, authenticity, warranties or representations. Reports given by phone or Internet are strictly our opinion, and are in no way a written or expressed guarantee of any sort. It is our recommendation that potential bidders should view all lots.
TIE BIDS: In the case of a tie bid with an absentee bid, the bid will go to the bidder in attendance. In the case a tie bid between two absentee bidders, the earliest bid takes precedence, so please place absentee bids as early as possible.
TITLE: A title passes upon the fall of the Auctioneer's hammer. It will then be the responsibility of the buyer to make full payment prior to removing the goods from the premises. It is the buyer's expense for removal and must be made at the conclusion of the sale unless other arrangements are made with us.
NEW YORK STATE TAX: By law, we collect combined New York State and local sales tax of 8.25% on all items delivered in New York unless you provide us with a valid NYS Tax Exemption/Resale Certificate – Form ST-120. You may print this form out from our website. We do not collect tax on items shipped to an out of state buyer by a qualified carrier.
REMOVAL: All items must be removed at the conclusion of the sale. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to make full payment prior to removing the goods from the premises.
SHIPPING: We offer limited shipping of purchases. All shipping is provided as a courtesy to our buyers. Please allow 2-4 weeks for shipping upon payment. Buyer is responsible for any and all costs of shipping (i.e. labor, material, insurance, actual shipping cost, etc.). All insurance on shipped items is through the shipper/carrier (i.e. US Post Office, UPS, FedEx, etc.) and we are not responsible for any damages, loss, delays in shipping, etc. once shipped. All claims must be made to the shipper or carrier. We prefer to ship via USPS Priority but will ship with other carries per buyer's request. We require insurance on all items shipped by our office unless the buyer provides us with written notification that they do not want their item(s) insured. Buyers may also arrange the pick-up, packing and shipping of any item with a third party carrier of their choice.
AGENT RESPONSIBILITY: If you are registering or executing a bid for someone else under your number, please bear in mind that you are responsible for the settlement of that account with us regardless of whether the person you're executing or registering for pays you or not.
DISPUTED BID: In case of a disputed bid, the Auctioneer is the sole determinant as to who is the successful bidder and at his discretion may re-offer and resell the article in dispute.
TERMS: Any bidding on items means you are in compliance and acceptance of the terms of sale as stated herein. The bidder assumes all responsibility of the terms stated upon bidding, including all terms & announcements made at the time of the sale, whether bidding in person, through a representative, by phone or fax, internet bidding, or absentee bidding.
