It is a pleasure to list a magnificent Indian bracelet from the age of the Raj.

It portrays 7 portrait miniatures including the builder of the Taj Mahal and some of his relatives. Each painting is an art work of quality and demonstrates the ability of the artist to portray people as living entities. There are 4 males portrayed, each with turbans, and three females. The central panel shows the ruler who built the magnificent Taj Mahal in memorary of his wife.

All portraits are perfet though one has a cracked and partially missing glass over it. The bracelet was mounted on a black velvet plaque by the previous owner and for continuity and balance she had the clasp removed. This clasp is not available.

If one wishes to wear this as a bracelet one would have to acquire a push-in clasp. The attachment at the other side is behind the right hand miniature.

The bracelet is above 18 carats, and is most likely is 22-24 carat gold.
