Prehistoric, 60 million year old Otodus shark tooth display fossil. 1.86" L. Comes with 2 3/4" square display case. Otodus is a very large extinct shark which lived from the Paleocene period to the Miocene period. The fossils of Otodus indicate that it was a super predatory shark like the Megalodon. The largest known teeth measure about 4.1 inches and the monster shark reached a maximum length of 40 feet long. Otodus likely preyed upon marine mammals, large bony fish, and other sharks. It was among the top predators of its time. Â
