<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>CSA field Muster Roll. Partly printed document, 2pp, folio, n.p., Jan 1, 1862. Completed Payroll for Captain John A. Lauderdale’s Regt, Company C, 5th TN, listing 105 soldiers under <b>Colonel Wm. E. Travis</b> (1825-1900), an attorney and farmer, the brother in law of Governor Isham Harris. Some portions a little light; toning and scattered foxing; horizontal center fold almost entirely separated repaired with clear and other tape; other partial fold separations with no paper loss; 1½" tear at top edge with small paper loss of little affect; some wear; o/w Good. The regiment was organized at Paris, TN, and participated at Shiloh, the Battle of Madrid Bend and Island No. 10, the fortification and evacuation of Corinth, Chattanooga, Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge, Franklin and Nashville. At Murfreesboro, both the 4th and 5th Tennessee Regiments had become so greatly reduced in numbers that they were consolidated for field purposes to form the 4th/5th Consolidated Tennessee.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
