This beautiful shell cameo, probably dating from around 1920, can be worn as a brooch or pendant. The setting is made of 585 gold, giving the jewel a graceful frame. The cameo fascinates with its extremely fine carved portrait of a lady in profile.
The brooch-pendant shows the hallmark ‘585’ on the back. The dimensions are 4.7 x 3.5 cm, the total weight being 9.87 grams. The condition of the piece is good, showing only slight wear marks. (cko)
