5269 PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD LOCOMOTIVE KEYSTONE NUMBER PLATE & PRINT. N/R. Reproduction of a Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive keystone number plate from the K4 Pacific steam locomotive #1361 built (1917-1928). This plate measures 17 x 19 inches. It is made of metal (not cast iron). There are three places for mounting posts on the back (No posts.) The back is molded with X 18188. Starting in 1917 and continuing through 1928 the Juniata Shops built a total of 349 of the K-4s Pacifics and the Baldwin Locomotive Works built 75 of them. There are only two K4s's, #1361 and #3750 that survived. Number 1361 is presently being rebuilt from the ground up in the shops at steamtown in Scranton Pa. Major work has already been accomplished. A new backhead plate, smoke box, boiler repairs and the like have been completed. Completion date is unknown. The limited edition 111/1000 framed colored print 17 1/2 x 21 1/2 is of the locomotive number #1361 and is pencil signed by Paul W. Adams and dated '93. With the wooden frame the overall size is 24 1/2 x 28 1/2. Condition: excellent with no damage. Estimate: $200.-$400.
