<B>50c Second Issue Progress Proof PCGS New 62.</B></I> One of the rarest categories of Developmental pieces with the face printing from an incomplete plate not showing any denomination. The "50" bronze that was intended for the back is overprinted on the face, along with the bronze date of March 21, 1863. The only three collections to contain notes of this nature were all sold in the past dozen years allowing this generation to obtain pieces that were simply unobtainable over the prior thirty years.
