ALIENS (1986) - Set of Five Dropship Model Miniature Vents - A set of five dropship model miniature vents from James Cameron's Aliens. Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and an elite team of Colonial Marines used a dropship named "Bug Stomper" to land on the surface of LV-426, but it later crash-landed during an attempted evacuation. Bishop (Lance Henriksen) remotely operated the second dropship - named "Smart Ass" - to rescue himself, Ripley, Newt (Carrie Henn) and Hicks (Michael Biehn).

The UD-4L class dropship, commonly known as the "Cheyenne," was designed by Cameron in collaboration with legendary artist Ron Cobb and was loosely based on an Apache attack helicopter and other Vietnam War-era aircraft, in keeping with the film's Vietnam War undertones. Several dropship models were made for the production for different purposes and to different scales.

This set consists of one larger vent made of fiberglass painted gray with a black mesh in it, and four smaller resin vents painted gray with black louvers. All of the elements exhibit scuffing and chipping throughout. Dimensions: (largest) 12" x 4.5" x 3.5" (30.5 cm x 11.5 cm x 9 cm)

Estimate: $2,000 - 4,000
