Prehistoric 50 million year old natural Knightia Eocaena Fish fossil specimen, in its Green River Formation Matrix. Quarried in an extinct lake known as "Fossil Lake" in Lincoln County, Wyoming. Dates from the Eocene Era ( 53 to 48 Million years ago ). The overall piece or matrix measures around 12.4cm or 4 7/8" at its largest or from opposing side to side.
