In this auction are 3 types of stamp memorabilia, stamps on Philatelic Presentation cards, postcards and envelopes. Included is the complete Official States of the union Historic Stamp Collection, (FDC) 1984 Maxium postcards, (FDC) state flower and bird envelopes and (FDC) postcards of the first 40 Presidents of the United States.
'The Official States of the Union Historic Stamp Collection' includes a stamp that "is combined on a Philatelic Presentation with and original engraved illustration depicting the most famous landmark or historic monument of the honored state". The pages are in like new condition and would make a great addition to any stamp collection. The album contains all 50 states, comes complete.
50 postcards from the 1984 Maximum Card Collection of First Day Cover Postcards, all postcards are in very good condition with only slight yellowing around the edges from age. They include statehood's, Olympics, Each postcard represents an illustrated subject matter, the stamp and the first day postmark on the front and a description about the subject on the back. Subject matters include Presidents, the Olympics, trains, great women in history and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial just to mention a few.
(FDC) Envelopes with description cards of each states Bird & Flower set forth by the 'National Audubon Society' art by Arthur Singer. There is an envelope with accompanying description from all 50 states. Enevelopes and description cards are very nice condition.
(FDC) of the First 40 Presidents of the United States represented on postcards. This collection was authorized by 'The White House Historical Association' with art work by Artist Mark Schuler. Each postcard has an illustration of the President on the front along with the stamp and first day postmark and on the back of each card is a quote from the represented President and historical information.
