Texts in English and French. The number "5" is printed in waves of various colors. In the center at the top is the Coat of Arms of Canada. On the right is a portrait of Sir Henry Charles Wilfrid Laurier, statesman, Canada's seventh Prime Minister from 1896 to 1911 and the first Francophone to hold this office. To the right of the portrait is a northeasterly view of the Centre Block and Library of Parliament as it appeared in Laurier's day, with the Red Ensign flying on the tower.
