This lot comprises five bottles of 1983 vintage Château Canon from the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux.

Saint Émilion is next to Pomerol one of the best-known appellations on the right river bank of the Gironde. Merlot is the predominant grape variety here. As in Graves, Saint Émilion has its own classification for the wines produced there, updated approximately every ten years; the last time being in 2012.

The 1983 vintage Château Canon was rated 88 points by Robert Parker in 1998.

The fill levels are excellent (into neck). The labels are soiled. The capsules are in perfect condition.
