4th - 6th Centuries AD, Roman - Early Byzantine artifact, pilgrim's ring belonging to a child. Rounded bezel with an incised diamond motif.  The term Byzantine originated in the 19th Century. Until then, Eastern Mediterranean cultures were referred to as "Roman" through the Medieval period. This pilgrim's ring was most likely worn by a child traveling to the Holy Land before the time of Islamic interference. Tiny size 2. In good, wearable condition.Â
