A group of four cast metal objects including a Schering commemorative mortar and pestle, 1983 issue marking the Lititz Pharmacopeia of 1778, the first American military formulary compiled by Physician-General William Brown. Also included are two tripod incense burners, a small one with a domed cover and one supported by tall legs with dragon head mounts, together with a tripod vessel with loop handles in the form of an archaic Chinese ding, originally used in ritual contexts but in later reproductions often adapted for use as an incense burner.
