48 [Psalter] THE PSALMS OF DAVID, AFTER THE TRANSLATION OF THE GREAT BIBLE. L. 1662. Black Letter. Folio. Engr. title vignette. Red-ruled & with wide margins throughout. Decorated initials. A little light staining to early leaves, and slight worming to margins of last few leaves. Possibly contemporary green velvet cloth, rubbed and worn at spine. Inscribed by Fannie Talbot, of Barmouth, to H.D. Rawnsley and dated Sept. 29th, 1891. Talbot was instrumental, with Rawnsley and Octavia Hill, in setting-up the National Trust. The first property given to the National Trust, Dinas Oleu, was donated by her in 1895. £400-500
