WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (1971) - Wonka Bar - A Wonka bar from Mel Stuart's fantasy musical Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Wonka bars featured throughout this adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic children's story, after Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder) randomly hid five golden tickets to a tour of his mysterious factory in the wrappers of his chocolate bars. One of these was found by Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum), beginning his adventure. Props from this beloved film are extremely hard to find, as most were destroyed at its Bavarian film studio to quickly make way for the immediate filming of Cabaret.

Made from compressed card, the bar displays the famous Wonka logo, which features the factory owner's top hat in yellow. Its outer edge is brightly decorated in orange, with the rest colored a rich chocolate brown. The top and bottom edges are hand-painted pink and the back is brown. The bar exhibits some signs of age and use, with minor paint wear, scuffing, and creasing at some points along the edges. Dimensions: 3.5" x 6.25" x 0.25" (9 cm x 16 cm x 0.5 cm)

Estimate: $10,000 - 20,000
