OBI-WAN KENOBI (2022) - Light-Up Remote-Controlled R3 Astromech Droid - A light-up, remote-controlled R3 Astromech droid from Deborah Chow's television series Obi-Wan Kenobi. In episode 2, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) chased Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) through a city port on Daiyu, which was crowded with other pedestrians and droids, after Leia began to doubt Kenobi as mercenaries arrived for them. An astromech droid such as this, with its unique orange and purple color scheme, can be seen on the right side of the frame as people move around.

One of the most anticipated series of 2022, Obi-Wan Kenobi became the most-watched series premiere on Disney+ in its first weekend.

This hand-built droid is composed of aluminum sheeting, plastic, composite polymer, and wood with machined metal components. It features a one-piece dome head, posable utility arms, and was painted in orange with purple accents. It was intentionally distressed to look dusty, dirtied and well-used during its life at the spaceport. Also included is the Spektrum DX6 remote control that drives this droid, as well as a Digital Remote Controller with extendable antenna. The droid features motion and light effects powered by a 24v and a 12v battery. This lot exhibits a buildup of grime in the fine crevices, minor chipped paint, and mild scratching to some of the metal finish. Dimensions: 28" x 25" x 44" (71.25 cm x 63.5 cm x 111.75 cm)
