OBI-WAN KENOBI (2022) - Light-Up Remote-Controlled 2X-3KPR Perimeter Droid - A light-up, remote-controlled 2X-3KPR perimeter droid from Deborah Chow's Obi-Wan Kenobi. In several episodes throughout Season 1, including 1, 5, and 6, a KPR droid with an illuminated yellow dome patrolled the perimeter of the Lars homestead while awaiting the arrival of Inquisitor Reva Sevander's (Moses Ingram). The droid's appearance was an Easter Egg referring to the droid that patrolled the Lars homestead in Star Wars: A New Hope.

One of the most anticipated series of 2022, Obi-Wan Kenobi became the most-watched series premiere on Disney+ in its first weekend.

Originally seen in A New Hope, this hand-built droid is a recreation of the droid that guarded the Lars homestead which provides continuity between the modern Star Wars productions and the original source material. It is composed of predominantly steel with plastic, acrylic, rubber, aluminum, and wood components. It features a removable dome head made of thick frosted glass that houses strips of LEDs around cylindrical core which illuminate when powered. The dome can be removed by unlatching it around the bottom. This droid is painted in shades of gray, rust, and caution yellow. It was intentionally distressed to look dusty, dirtied and well-used for its life on Tatooine. Also included is the Spektrum DX6 remote control that drives this droid. This lot exhibits a buildup of grime in the fine crevices, mild scratching to some of the finish, minor fraying to the wire covering, chipped paint, and lifted adhesive. Dimensions: 40" x 27" x 41" (101.5 cm x 68.5 cm x 104.25 cm)
