41A: An Ancient Egyptian Double Glaze Faience Ushabti
Egypt, dating to 30th Dynasty / early Ptolemaic Period, ca. 380-300 BCE. The body and face are a pale turquoise and the tripartite wig is a deep royal blue; it’s holding conventional pick and hoe, and has a false beard. A lovely example.

Provenance: From an old Florida collection, originally acquired in England in the mid-60s.
