Leg: * SALVS.ET.VICTORIA.NOSTRA.1635. <B>NGC graded AU-53.</B> <BR><BR>Silesia, the Germanic Schlesien, was unfortunate enough to be located at the crossroads of Poland, Bohemia, and Prussia. The area was constantly fought over by the Holy Roman Empire as well. At this time in 1635 in the midst of the Thirty Years War, the territory was Protestant and proud of it.
