40 Anniversary Extravaganza - 27th Annual Cabin Fever Estates Auction

Auction Details

This year will be one of the most spectacular Cabin Fever Estates Auctions we’ve had in our 40 years in business! You will be participating in a walk back in time starting with the 1940’s through the 1950’s of the Golden Age of Hollywood and Glamour Girls! Illustrator art of model, Helen Mueller of Mount Claire New Jersey, including her personal collection of pictures, photographs, clothing, collections, and oriental treasures. Her husband, William H. Geyer, was a star football player in the 1940’s with Colgate University and 3 seasons with the Chicago Bears, including their championship 1946 season. Estate items from the architecturally splendid home in Mt. Claire New Jersey will also feature his personal football memorabilia, mounts from his many African safaris and big game hunts, plus decorative items from all over the world.

Items from a life long antique collection from a beautiful colonial home in Washington Depot, CT will be up for auction, featuring some very hard to find beautiful pieces of Meissen China, fabulous artwork, many pieces from New York City, beautiful fine antique furniture, and many other unique and beautiful cherished items. One of the featured items will be an unbelievable marble top credenza, attributed to Allan Brothers carving in Philadelphia. This piece is a true one of a kind, unbelievable piece which includes bronze/copper plaques, carvings of grapes, nuts, horseshoes, and horse feet. This one is not to be missed!

Then we follow to a family who lived on the same 6 acre mountaineside home for over 100 years. The owners have collections of museum quality and held the key to 100 years of great artifacts, many from the Litchfield County area. Featured and a very rare find is a George Washington inaugural button. A similar one just sold for over $225,000 at a Texas auction. This button is part of over a thousand buttons, sewn onto cards and unbelievable in variety and scope. Also includes a massive, 1,000 bell collection, minerals, seashells, geodes, arrowhead and Indian artifacts, first day cover and stamp collection, coins, jewelry, hat pin collection, hand fans (close to 800 Victorian era ladies fans), Girl Scout Collection, carved RJ Horner, New York carved quality oak furnishings, sewing, post cards, wood working tools, clocks, books and paper memorabilia. The real estate will also be up for auction that day. Mary Helen Levine, Broker will hold the listing for the 6 acre parcel and home. Visit litchfieldrealestateauctionsllc.com, or contact Mary Helen Levine, Broker at 203-525-4753 for more information regarding the real estate.

These and other estate collections will be offered in 1 day in one unbelievable fabulous auction, undoubtedly the biggest one held in CT and/or New England in one day.

Many of these pieces will be sold in lots, the way we find them, with wonderful opportunities for buyers all throughout the auction.
