This is a lot of four items, all of which pertain to Mount St. Helens and its 1980 eruption. * Ash collected from the bank of the Toutle River on June 12, 1980, less than a month after its initial eruption on May 18. The ash is in a glass jar 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter. Pyroclastic debris (tuff) which was ejected onto the south flank rim of the mounted. It was collected in July 1988. Dimensions are 1 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". Book titled "102 Hikes in the Alpine Lakes, South Cascades, and Olympics," Second Edition, published 1978.
